I woke up at 7 am to register, and I quickly went back to sleep afterwards. I had a mid-term in EE112 today… and I messed up on the last problem. I found out my mistake 1 min before the hour was up. 🙁 I also had a half-midterm in physics, so far it is looking good. 🙂

I have yet to sign up for PSY202, I’ll save that for last.

  • Skype

Seems like everyone on our floor in the dorm “discovered” skype. Everyone was like skyping each other in a conference. This is good for my no-exercise diet, less moving required needed to talk to someone.

My pre-Chinese New Year’s Post, since I will be sleeping when CNY hits HK approx 8 am Pacific time. Keep your eyes open for those CNY shows. Feb. 9th is offically 初一. I may get to go home this weekend to 過年 with my family at home. Hopefully all works out well.

Some CNY Sayings, hopefully I didn’t repeat too many from last year’s post.
    利事逗來 😉

Don’t ask me too much with my limited vocabulary 😛

Since KD is nice enough to link to my blog I thought I should return the favor and link back to her’s. At the moment she only has 1 post since it was just started. While I’m at it I will test the TrackBack URL feature since I never used it and I’m not 100% sure what it does. 😛

    Furor over textbooks

    By Becky Bartindale

    Mercury News

Students at University of California-Santa Cruz and other campuses across the country Tuesday accused publishers of arbitrarily pushing up the cost of textbooks, saying those increases have dramatically outpaced inflation in recent years.

    我朋友说 在欺骗我
     不是美国的,IP地址是可以设置的
    而且 刚刚的英语讲的太烂了,语法好差
     要是生气我也没办法
    我也是觉得和 聊天很有意思才一直和 聊下去的

    Rough Translation:
My friend says you are lying
You aren’t American, your IP can be setup/changed
And the English which you just said was all broken, very bad language
    but vocabulary is not bad
Also, people in the US can’t go on QQ
I am only talking about the truth and facts
If you get mad at me, I can’t control you
I still think it is very interesting chatting with you, and can continue to chat with you

Since when was my English so bad and my Chinese so great.
LOL. I only wish my Chinese was THAT good. 😛
Considering how bad her English was… but we don’t need to get into that. xDDD I wonder how she can judge others English when her owns was so poor considering she was a non-native speaker. Even native speakers may have some trouble sometimes… Just amazing 😛 Gave me a good laugh.
