Now I can go back doing what I was doing before school started, but I forgot what that was…

  • De Anza is Done, almost

A-/B+ in PHIL 1 class… and the professor does not give plus or minus grades, so that means A or B, thats a big difference between 4.0 and 3.0. I am not going to take the optional final, as I need to get an A to raise my grade, and no way I can do that. So up to the prof to pick :(. He better be in a happy mood while doing grades!
I’m not sure about my Greek history class HIST 4a. I think I either have A, A-, or B+, but I will see when grades come out.

I have no idea how those grades would affect my Cal Poly SLO stuff either. xD Oh well whatever, De Anza cost maybe $200-300 for these 8 units during summer, at Cal Poly it would easily be $900. This is assuming the cut off for lower tution is at 8 units for summer and not 6 like during the normal academic year.

  • Dead Week

So far I am enrolled in 8 units of classes. I got into CPE229 and EE212 with their coresponding labs. I now need 8 more units of GE or Engineering Support. Hopefully I will waitlist into some classes, or else I will have fun first day of Winter 2006 trying to crash classes. The orginal CPE lab i enrolled in was cancled due to under enrollment, hopefully none of my other classes get cancled or else I’ll have to do more shifting in my sechdule.

Today I took my IME156 Final which was a lot of guessing. There were a ton of questions that there isn’t even enough time to look at your page of notes front and back. I hope I do better tomorrow in the Power Supply evaluation.

Dead week is more than half-over and I have my EE and PHYS hw half done… And finals around the corrner…. *sigh*

  • Classes

I had 3 out of my 5 classes now.

Math 143 (Calculus III) The teacher sometimes can go though examples fast, I’m used to my community college teacher who like explains everything nice and clear. XD Luckily half the course will be review for me.

Physics 141 That class seems to go too slow since we spent 4 days going over vectors and motion diagrams. I don’t get why we need so much time on it. The teacher even said that we were more advanced than the other classes. O.o

Econ 201 Take notes… don’t zone out while the teacher is talking. XD

    ap score

After High School, I can say that junoir year was the hardest, but I wished I worked harder that year to get better grades. I sank a lot during junoir year but like compeltly bounced back Senoir year. The college test stuff continued on to the 1st semester of senoir year but it wasn’t bad once you get to the second semester. After that you notice how fast the year will end and all these people that you meet that you may end up not seeing again.

As summer progresses college gets closer and closer, and the murky cloud slowly becomes clearer.

The 4 for Physics B looks way out of place now. 😛 Only if I worked harder. 😉 For some 4 AP classes was nothing, and that I didn’t really challege myself in my weak English areas ;), but for me, who cares now since it all doesn’t matter anymore. 😀

  • AP Scores Are In

They are in for some people, but not for all.

    AP Chemistry @ IHS

Numbers from School by teacher’s memory | Score | # of Students who recived that score
    1 – 5 – 1
    2 or 3 – 4 – 1
    6 – 3
    ? – 2 – 2
    ? – 1 – 3

    哇!OMG I GOT A 5. =D

    I also got a 5 on Stats.

I’m collecting scores for our Chem class, so if you want to pass me some information feel free.

When school starts I can try to get the results that the school gives out to teachers.

    Update: 思远 spill your beans!

  • AP Chem Pratice Test

Posted on May 3rd, 2004 wt8008 No comments

Today in AP Chemistry we took the 1999 M/C and I got 39? for the raw score that means high 3, low 4 in terms of probility of getting the scores. We had maybe 10 to 20 mins left in the 1 hr 30 mins but we stopped to correct it. A few days left for any final reviewing… I took more time reviewing Chemistry than Statistics. I only really started on Friday or 3 days before the test besides the pratice in class. :-p

  • AP Test Count Down

Posted on April 20th, 2004 wt8008 No comments

Start of AP Testing Week: 13 Days :O.

    AP Stats: 14 Days
    AP Calc: 15 Days
    AP Chem: 22 Days

Time is going to pass by fast now, before I know it we will be in the Commons room at school taking the AP test. Reading the questions then drawing a big blank :P. I’m just worried about AP Chem. I am going to be taking Stats and Chem, I didn’t bother signing up for French. If I pass Chem with a 4 or 5, with my current major I could get out of all of my Chem classes in college at Cal Poly SLO which is two quarters. With a 3 I get out of 1 quarter, and of course anything lower means I get to take Chem again. Stats doesn’t get me out of anything since I need to take Stats for engineers which I’m guessing involes calculus, but taking this lower class would help me understand the higher class. At Cal Poly engineers do not need any foreign language so passing French would just get me credit, but I don’t do so well with French. Now, I’m just trying to focus on AP Chemistry because of the reward I can get out of passing it.
